The Washington Wizards are getting solid work out of JaVale McGee
24-year old center JaVale McGee is still providing solid work in the pivot for the Wizards despite the team’s lack of overall success. McGee has played in 24 games (all starts) for the Wizards so far this year and he is averaging 28.3 minutes, 10.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 3.0 blocked shots per game. He is shooting 50.7% from the floor as most of his shots are coming from close range, but he is only shooting 45.5% from the free throw line and that is awful. The Wizards better get McGee to work on his free throws as he gets fouled a lot. Regardless of his poor free throw shooting, McGee has really been an asset for the Wizards this year.
