Is Nick Young ever going to step up for the Washington Wizards?

Blogged under General, Bloglockers, Need to step up, Front Page by alleyoop on Thursday 14 January 2010 at 6:18 pm

24-year old SG/SF Nick Young is stuck in a rut. He is softer than a roll of Charmin and all he likes to do on the basketball court is shoot the ball. Young has played in 30 games (12 starts) for the Wizards this season and he is averaging 19.8 minutes, 8.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game. He has played in 187 games (19 starts) so far in his career with the Wizards and he is averaging 19.2 minutes, 9.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. The Wizards are likely going to be trading a lot of players in the near future which will open up some playing time for Young so he won’t have any excuses left.

Nick young is not soft ! If anything he drives alot. He is buildng confidence. He is one of the quickest players in the league! Yes I said it! League! One step and he is gone. He shoots the ball because he wants to be able to apply his practice to the games. He is going to be a special player to come. Give him the starting job he will average 20+ easy. To my knowledge didn’t he go on a rampage where he scored over 30+ in four games in a row starting? I think he did! Your sadly mistaken….Nick Young god bless and stay healthy your day will come.
