The Washington Wizards have really improved this off-season

Blogged under General, Comings & Goings, Bloglockers, Big Wizards News, Front Page by alleyoop on Thursday 3 September 2009 at 8:25 am

The Washington Wizards might not have had a pick in the NBA Draft (they traded them) but they improved the roster immensely due to the trade they made with the Timberwolves. SG/SF Mike Miller and PG/SG Randy Foye could both wind up starting this season for the Wizards and that would be a good thing as they are both good basketball players. The players the Wizards gave up (Etan Thomas, Darius Songaila and Oleksiy Pecherov) are all backup players which almost no upside. The Wizards also brought in backup center Fabricio Oberto to give them some toughness and rebounding off the bench.
