The Wizards have signed 34-year old center Fabricio Oberto to a 1-year deal. Oberto played in 54 games (11 starts) for the Spurs last season and he averaged 12.5 minutes, 2.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. Oberto has now played in 274 games (108 starts) in his four year NBA career and he has averaged 15.3 minutes, 3.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. Oberto should be able to help the Wizards off the bench next season.
