The Wizards didn’t play any defense last night as the Magic shot 56.1% from the floor and it killed them. Antwan Jamison led the way for the Wizards with 19 points and 6 rebounds last night. DeShawn Stevenson also had a solid game as he finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Nick Young and Oleksiy Pecherov pitched in with 15 points apiece off the bench. The Wizards are now 29-31 on the season.

The Wizards saved their best for last as they outscored the Hornets 27-15 in the 4th quarter to seal a nice home win. Antwan Jamison led the way for the Wizards with 28 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. DeShawn Stevenson was only 5 of 14 shooting from the floor but he finished with 16 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists. Andray Blatche was very active in his 22 minutes on the floor as he finished with 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. The Wizards are now 29-30 on the season.

The rookies on the Washington Wizards have potential

The Wizards have given their rookies minutes off the bench this season due to injuries and they look like they will contribute in the future. Nick Young will be a starter at some point in his career and he can really put the ball in the basket. He has played in 55 games (2 starts) this season and he is averaging 14.5 minutes, 6.7 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game. He is a decent shooter from everywhere as he is hitting 41.5% of his shots from the floor, 35.5% of his shots from three-point range and 82.2% from the free throw line. Dominic McGuire hasn’t played that great this season for the Wizards. He has played in 47 games (0 starts) this season for the Wizards and he is averaging 8.6 minutes, 1.0 point, 1.8 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game. He also has shot poorly this season as he is only hitting 36.2% of his shots from the floor and 33.3% of his shots from the free throw line. Oleksiy Pecherov has played decent lately for the Wizards. He has played in 20 games (0 starts) this season for the Wizards and he is averaging 9.3 minutes, 3.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. He is not shooting too well however as he is only shooting 37.3% from the floor and 55.6% from the free throw line.

The Wizards outscored the Bulls 63-39 in the 2nd half on Friday Night to surge to victory. Antwan Jamison only shot 5 of 18 from the floor but he still finished with 17 points, 15 rebounds and 2 steals. Roger Mason pitched in with 17 points and 2 steals off the bench. Andray Blatche had another solid game as he finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. The Wizards are now 28-30 on the season.
