With Gilbert Arenas out, Antonio Daniels has taken over the starting point guard job and he’s done a good job. Daniels is not the same kind of offensive player that Arenas is but he’s a good defender who knows who to get the basketball to. Daniels has now played in 24 games this season and he is averaging 30.4 minutes, 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.0 steal per game. He also is a really good shooter as he is hitting 47.8% from the floor this year. The Wizards are lucky to have had someone of Daniels’ caliber to replace Arenas.
