The Wizards have re-signed DeShawn Stevenson to a 4-year, $15 million dollar contract.  Stevenson did not play too well in the playoffs but he was solid in the regular season.  While Stevenson is a little inconsistent on offense but he picked up his game when Arenas and Butler were out with injuries last season.  He gives the Wizards a good #4 option on offense and the price was right to bring him back.

The Wizards have signed Oleksiy Pecherov who was their first round pick (#18 overall) in the 2006 Draft.  Pecherov played last season in his native Ukraine.  In the Ukraine Pecherov played in 22 games and he averaged 21 minutes, 11.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.0 block per game.  He also hit 22 of 66 (33.3%) of his three point attempts.  Pecherov has nice size at 7′0″, 210 pounds and the Wizards will likely use him at both center and power forward.
