The Wizards fold in the 4th quarter and lose 113-101 to the Nets in New Jersey

The Nets outscored the Wizards 34-23 in the 4th quarter and that’s why the Wizards lost last night!   Gilbert Arenas had another awful shooting night as he only hit 7 of his 25 shots from the floor.  Arenas still led the Wizards in scoring with 26 points.  Jarvis Hayes got the start in place of Caron Butler and he had a great game with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists.  Little used Roger Mason had an outstanding game off of the bench as he scored 18 points in only 21 minutes.

The Wizards only shot 37.6% from the floor and were outrebounded 50-41 and still almost won the game which is amazing.  DeShawn Stevenson led the way for the Wizards with 21 points.  Gilbert Arenas had a pathetic shooting night (4 of 22) but he still wound up with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists.

The Wizards never really got going last night against the Bulls.  Gilbert Arenas had an awesome game with 36 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, but he didn’t have a lot of help against the physical Bulls.  Caron Butler also was a little bit busy as he scored 14 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 4 assists.
