Etan Thomas still out
It’s a shame that Etan Thomas sprained his left ankle and has missed some time, because he was really playing well so far this season. Thomas was only playing 21.4 minutes per game, but he was scoring 7.1 points, grabbing 6.6 rebounds and blocking 1.8 shots per game so far this season. He and Brendan Haywood really made a nice team at the center position for the Wizards. The Wizards have been lucky because Brendan Haywood has really stepped up for the Wizards with his increased playing time due to Thomas’ injury.

I agree. I am glad to see Haywood stepping up and playing some good ball. Bench depth still concerns me. The big three wont score high every night. Need someone on bench to step up and be the 6th man on this team.
Antonio Daniels and Jarvis Hayes are the guys that need to step up on the bench. Both are good players, but they need to bring it every night.
I think Haywood has filled in nicely for Etan Thomas. He’s always been a legit center who play great defense. I would rather have Haywood start than Thomas.
Etan Thomas and Brendan Haywood have done a great job at center between them. Their are plenty of minutes for these guys to split.
